The support you need, as and when you need it.
An EXTRAORDINARY CONSULTANCY
We’re not here to take up your time, throw some ideas at you then leave you to get on with it. We invest ourselves completely in the process, and we don’t stop until we’ve delivered on all our promises — including the implementation of any plan we suggest if you wish. Our goal is always to make work processes as efficient and effective as possible. And that includes the work we do with you.
We don't do change for change's sake either. We create a tailored, practical, flexible strategy for every client.
That might be a large-scale, long-term change management programme. It might be a short-term solution to a specific issue. It could be something in between.
Whatever the size of your project, we begin with an up-front plan showing what we think you need, the support we will provide and the costs you can expect. You're then free to work with us on customising that plan. For example, if you'd prefer to implement it internally, without our support, we're happy to leave that with you.
The end result? Tangible strategies and deliverables for every stage of your practical, flexible, workable change management programme.
our FOUNDERS
COLIN WILSON
Director
Colin’s career began at The Weir Group, supplying pumps and turbines to the naval, water, waste-water and hydro power markets. That experience taught him everything he ever wanted to know about the demand for high engineering standards at low cost, the resulting pressure on operating profits and the inevitable limitations on investment that would follow for the business. Reducing waste and eliminating inefficiency became a personal obsession.
A move into the oil and gas industry, where high-profit margins and rapid growth had led to an acceptance of waste and inefficiency, further fuelled his obsession. Colin could see the considerable opportunities inherent in improvement and spend optimisation. He’s spent the last ten+ years in maintenance execution and business change roles with top-tier businesses, always with the goal of driving improved compliance, efficiency, and work management.
Colin is passionate on the subject of work management being a critical factor to peoples’ safety. From his early career at Weir’s, he has practical and technical understanding of the day-to-day pressures and challenges faced by maintenance leads and supervisors, and he knows he can help to make it easier. His curiosity and interest in the field have led into a habit of continuous learning and development, both personally and professionally. He connects regularly on social media with the maintenance community and likes to hear and share views on the different aspects of the subject. His time away from work is spent with his wife and two young boys in the Aberdeenshire countryside.
EUAN GALLOWAY
Director
Euan’s passion for developing and implementing change programmes began with his application to a small, specialist consultancy business in Aberdeen. That choice gave him an opportunity to work on a variety of organisational and system change programmes, with multinational clients, and steadily developing the experience, insight, and leadership skills necessary for the delivery of complex projects. Some years later he joined the staff at a ‘big four’ world-leading consultancy which, with over 300,000 employees and many divisions, gave him the chance to be involved with larger-scale projects. Having achieved what he felt he wanted to in that corporate environment he felt it was time to once again be part of a smaller, more focused, company that could offer a tailored approach to its clients.
Euan’s long list of achievements in supporting national and international clients on change projects covers public and private sectors. He is used to collaborating across all levels of an organisation to ensure behavioural, cultural, and meaningful change is delivered. The successful delivery of these projects is, in part, due to his low key, efficient, and no fuss approach. Euan doesn’t like people’s time to be wasted and he aims to make the execution of projects easier for clients.
Global travel is something Euan enjoys, and he likes nothing better than jumping on a flight to obscure, and the not so obscure, locations in the world for client projects. He also finds time to be a Non-Executive Director of a transport business in New Zealand, a volunteer member of the Children’s Panel in Aberdeen, and manage a small croft on the beautiful Hebridean Island of Harris where he lives with his family.
